Meet-ups offer breaths of fresh air

June 27, 2016

Blue Jean Nation, the Wisconsin Grassroots Network and Frame for the Future are teaming up to host a series of meet-ups scattered across the state to challenge conventional habits that have repeatedly failed us in public life and showcase new approaches to civic engagement that actually work. In addition, those attending will have an opportunity to meet some groundbreaking candidates who are running in jeans and appealing to voters in ways that are decidedly different.

These breaths of fresh air are being offered on three consecutive evenings….

Tuesday, July 5 in Eau Claire
5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
L.E. Phillips Memorial Public Library, Eau Claire room
400 Eau Claire Street

Wednesday, July 6 in Fort Atkinson
6 to 9 p.m.
Dwight Foster Public Library, Community room
209 Merchants Avenue

Thursday, July 7 in the Wausau area

Central Wisconsin Airport, lower conference room 017
100 CWA Drive

Same-old, same-old politics got you down?  These meet-ups will give you a lift. Prepare to have old ways challenged, and bring some new ideas to share. Come think with us about what works and what doesn’t. Come find out what it means to run in jeans and meet and mingle with some who are out there breaking the mold on the campaign trail right now.
